Is it possible to send your luggage i.e. a suitcase, to Korea through a courier service like UPS, DHL etc..?
If so, how much would it cost and how long would it take to arrive?
I've been asked to go to Korea and then do a visa run to Japan but I don't want to carry my suitcase around with me wherever I go, it would be too heavy and bulky. I'm hoping to take a smaller one with me initially to Korea and then to Japan when I do the visa run.
Does this seem like a good idea? |

So you wanna ditch your suitcase and then go to Japan and then get your suitcase back, right? |

well what i want to do is send my suitcase to my school a few days before i leave for korea, then go with just a small one, do the visa run to japan with just my small case and then when i get back to korea, my bigger suitcase will be waiting for me at the school.
does that make sense?

We said the same thing but differently. Sending boxes from where ever is $$$$. I think what you want to do will cost $300-400 in postage.
I'll offer to hold your suitcase in exchange for a free dinner at The Nashville, Seoul's premier expat cafe.
You take one bus to Iteawon, drop off the suitcase, go back to the airport and then to Japan and then back to Iteawon to get your case.
You should agree to that, its very reasonable. |
