I should think the paper stores would be a great source. They have printed papers, stickers, fancy scissors, clear files, all that stuff. My one concern would be that you probably won't find to much "acid-free" stuff, which is used by scrapbookers so the photos and other materials won't disintegrate over time.

I'm lucky if I can get my pictures in an album.

Yeah, i'm a bit worried about the acid free paper...i made 2 scrapbooks over a year ago and wasn't concerned about the acid free stuff. i used a lot of construction paper and it turned out well, but now i'm worried that it's just going to disintegrate. i guess if it does, i can just get the photos printed again, since they're on CD, but those albums took a lot of time and effort.

i wonder how one would go about finding out if the paper is acid free? guess husband's help is a must here.

but seriously, there must be lots of scrapbooking going on here...koreans are picture crazy!

anyway, i'll post more for others if i find anything out.

With regard to photo albums, I have found lots of the pocket type albums....I use them. And I hope those are "acid free." Shocked

The ones I avoid are the sticky albums...if those are the acid ones...

Please let me know...I don't want all my pics to be ruined!!!!!!!!

No, the pocket style ones are ok, i believe. you're right, it's the sticky ones that are evil. actually, i have about 3 sticky albums of my grandparents that i have no idea how i'm going to deal with because some of the pictures are just stuck there permanently. i guess they didn't know about that then.

good idea about laminating the photos.....hhhmmmmm

I just wanted to post this for anyone who might be interested. I found a good site for scrapbooking supplies (actually, it was the only one I could find -- i guess a lot of Koreans prefer to use cyworld)

http://www.foreverheart.co.kr/SHOP/shop_list.asp?shopclass=2&b_id=30

they have a tonne of albums, paper, stickers, stencils....etc.

also, I came across this really good scrapbooking site.....the best part is all the cool fonts!

By the way, if any ladies are interested in getting together and doing some scrapping, PM me.
