There used to be a cricket competition here in Seoul a few years ago. Anyone know what happened to it?
Anyone interested in getting out for a knock now when the weather warms up a bit?
Withdrawals are setting in... have started bowling crumpled up balls of paper in the corridors at Uni....
Cheers

I tried investigating this a couple of years ago but never found anything. Would definitely join up if we could get enough people interested! |

I know some of the Indian students at SNU play cricket on Sundays... If you're interested, I could get the email address of one of them through an Indian friend I think. |

I met some jerks in Limelight last weekend. They were in uniforms and they told me they played cricket. They were from New Zealand. I don't know how to contact them, but just so you know - there is indeed someone playing cricket around here. Don't give up the search. |

I hope that they were jerks because they just were, and not just because they played cricket
Anyway, i have just introduced my american mate to cricket whilst he was holidaying withg me in nz. loves the game now and has bought a set back with him, as will i when i return. we will be in daejeon on sundays hitting about. pm me in a month, for more details. cant wait for a good game for a day! all good. |

What do you reckon the heat'll be like by May of this year? I'm aiming to get myself back thereabouts by about then and would be right into it.
Got a Korean mate in west of Seoul who got into it in Aotearoa/NZ for the first time last year too. He'd been keen as right now, I reckon. Let me know if yous need another cap there now, and I'd put him in touch.
Hmm... is there really anywhere there with enough flat land and grass to play, or is it indoor stuff only? |
