I'm reading a grammar text at the mo', and I've come across this:

"Participles can often be used as adjectives before nouns, or after be and other COPULAR verbs."

Does anyone know what the hell this book is talking about?

I have no idea!

Any help taken with thanks, RR |

				| Thought it had something to do with copulation (copul-o, -are, -avi, -atum). |

So! "To copulate" literally means "to link"!

I didn't know that! |
