I finally got my web problems with my cheap web service sorted out (mostly). I am going to totally remake the site soon, but for now, here is a link to our school's "news club," which I started. This is last Fall's first attempt, and was submitted as one of my "special materials projects" required by my school for Kyonngi-do. Rolling Eyes

That was great, Derrek, nice work. I especially enjoyed the anchor's "Thanks for that revealing story" after the flasher item. Classic.

One contradiction. Ignore the flasher but scream bloody murder if you see him. Hard to do both Smile

Is there really a flasher prowling your school? Scary thing about flashers is half of them are just dirty old men that expose themselves. The other half are future sex predators. They start with flashing and when they realize they can get away with that, they progress up the sex predator food chain to rapist.

Scary stuff.

About the flasher...

There are actually at least two.. possibly three. And that's just in Bundang. I think I posted this in a recent "flasher" thread that was on Dave's this past week, but one of them is young -- maybe early 20s. One of my students was flashed by him at Jung-ang park in Bundang, then she saw the exact same guy walking with his girlfriend near Samsung Department store. The other flasher is older, and my co-workers think he is from a nearby military outpost at the top of our small mountain behind our school.

If I catch him, I plan to knock him down, steal his coat, and run away with it.

Thanks.

The girls also wrote a good story ripping on EBS learning, but I didn't have time to finish editing it, and I'm sure it wouldn't have been appreciated by some folks in school gov't.

Excellent! Great editing and sound...very impressed!
The only problem I had with it is that it reaffirms my laziness as a teacher in comparison Embarassed

I did, but I plan to teach basic editing to some of the girls this semester.
