It would certainly help you with the correct use of articles
Seriously though, the thing is that if you see an employer who requires a CELTA (like IH or the British Council) you are looking at someone who has higher standards than someone who'll take anyone for the job. There does seem to be a correlation between the professionalism of the outfit and the requirement for its employees to have the CELTA.
Note that I said 'correlation' not 'exact match'
Not to mention how it will improve you as a teacher...
But I don't think that having a CELTA will make it any more likely you'll land a job in Korea specifically. Just might make you more employable for the more professional establishments, that's all.
