This is getting really pathetic now!
I've been to 3 places in Gangnam,Seoul this week and
all ofem rejected me because I'm "A GYOPO".
Anyway, does anybody know of a place where they would
let gyopos work too? |

The key to finding work as a gyopo is to speak Korean. You'll definitely raise your marketability that way.
"If you speak three languages, you're trilingual. Two languages, bilingual. One language, AMERICAN." |

I've heard bad things on Blacklist sites about EWHA ALS offices run by Regina Kim (branch unspecified) and Hilary No (Daegu). Just beware. |

you might want to try elite korea, they're hiring right now and they're on dave's esl cafe.
try the english spectrum site too and there's a web site called korea gyopos. you might want to get in touch with esl recruit, they i know, have a job at a tv station in youido.
good luck |

Just post online on eslcafe.com for jobs wanted..
I went searching for 'english teachers korea' on search engines.. and found alot more than just eslcafe..
There are alot of jobs for Kyopos.. in fact, just the other day someone called me and asked specifically if i was a kyopo.. and i said 'no' and they said i'm sorry we're looking for a kyopo..
Another thing, I've also went from place to place looking in the most desireable places like Jongno or Shinchon or wherever.. and routinely they say 'no'.. the demand is pretty high and they are extremely visible and popular..
Anyhow, post your resume online, and do some search engine searches for schools.. going to 3 schools is not enough.. particularly not when you are wandering around the most highly visible places in Jongno.. they probably have 2-3 teachers a day that stop in there.. i know.. because i've been to all those places myself.. |

Sure there are 1000s and 1000s of jobs for Gyopos.. if you need more assistance.. I could spend another 5 minutes and copy and paste really quick so you have another 20-30 leads or so..
I've been turned down my a couple really GOOD jobs because I wasn't gyopo.. actually I'm done with my job search.. I found one that I wanted.. but if you are still having problems.. I can pass along ALOT more.. there are SO MANY!!
Again, just go to any search engine.. search for 'korea english teacher'.. on the sites, look at 'jobs offered'.. eslcafe is only one source.. but there are dozens and dozens of other websites.. I was seeing them left and right a couple weeks ago during my job search.. and I could pull alot more fairly quickly as well.. |

you want me to quickly copy and paste a bunch more? how many more you want or need? where are you looking anyhow that you can't seem to find any?
If you only went to 3 places in Jongno.. most likely you would have went to Pagoda as one of them.. its one of the most central places and most obvious to find.. that was one of the ones I just saw that was actively looking for a kyopo right now..
Anyhow, throughout Seoul there are 1000s probably for gyopos.. what seems to be the trouble with them? something you don't like in particular? the 5-6 posted above i just posted a few hours.. the managmeent one looks great.. those i just quickly copied and pasted within 5 minutes of looking.. there is alot more.. how many more you need?
