I am planning on coming out to seoul to teach and wandered what the clubbing scene was like as I am a DJ and was thinking of bringing my records.

do have rave type dance music clubs - has that culture reached korea yet or would i be better going to taiwan?

One more "teacher", with his priorities obviously in order, to add to the pile.

Welcome to Korea!

are you related to Brian Dean? Just curious. Not sure about Rave but I know hip-hop is very popular here. Rave probably is as well. If you value your record set, I would be reluctant to bring them here, up to you.
There is an area here called Hongdae that is popular with the young people and these are tons of clubs and such venues. Good luck.

the house/techno/breaks/dnb scene gets better all the time, it is not many places, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong to name a few- no idea about Taiwan though.

Bring your records if you like, there are foreigners who DJ, (locals too of course), I know a few shops you can buy vinyl in but not with anything like the range of many major cities.

Here's a good link to find out more

And if the mods deleted what I think they deleted...don't even think about it.
