| I'm hoping to visit Seoul this summer. I'll be coming from New York. I was shocked at the prices -- $1300 return or $850 one way. Damn! Does this seem normal? It seems like I flew roundtrip 2 years ago during x-mas and it was only $800 |

| Keep looking. My first search showed no round trip fare less than US $1400.00 (from the West Coast) and going up from there, all the way to a first-class fare via Sydney, NSW for US$18,000.00! Finally I got a one-way from my small town to Incheon via SFO for $445 plus tax. |
