Yeah. I remember the Korean word for "neck" (mok) because of mok-dong. From Nowon, mok-dong is really way out in that mok of the woods. |

I just moved from that area.. It was nice.. close to Hongdae and Shinchon.. It had Carrefour and Hyundai.. lots of schools.. good restaraunts.. Chances of getting a good appartment in that area? hard to say.. my old school gave us a bad appartment because "prices were high" |

Where are the good restaurants? And, if you know what school(s) is/are good vs bad in the area please inform? |

I actualy lived in Omokgyo but Mokdong technically surrounds Omokgyo. Anyways i dont'know of the rep's of the other schools in that area.. Iknow at my school there were two otehr hagwons on either side of my school and another by my appartment (a GNB). I've talked to some other foreigners and never heard complaints about schools.. I never really asked. As for restaraunts, lots of them around Omokgyo station.. meat, chicken etc etc.. the area outside the Hyundai department store has some good places apparently.. i dont' really know what specific type of restaraunt your looking for? just give an example and I will list as many as I can think of.. |
