Heh.

I figure that if small animals get stuck to your face, that'd be a good indication.

Haha...

I never wear makeup to school....AND I always get the tired comment.....I just can't be bothered trying to look good for school.

If I don't wear my glasses, they say I look nice...and go on and on about it....I have to explain why I didn't wear my glasses, everytime!

How to tell if it is too much makeup?

Slap her on the back, and if her face falls off it is too much.

Laughing

I think that would happen if you did that to every female Korean teacher in my school.

I always wear make to school. Didn't at hogwon. But at my school I do trade on being pretty.

My friend has let me in on a little secret for never looking tired again. However she will kill me if I tell the masses about.

Haha. The students were at school.

I was applying my new make up at home with substandard lighting.

Just as a change of topic. Man is MAC getting stingy on their service. Yeterday I spent 100k and got on a stupid buffer brush. But I spent 30k at lancome and they gave me a free bottle of eye make up remover.

I think the title should be:

"Why to wear make-up."

For all those into cake talk, find me K-woman between the ages of 20-25 who does it like you say? Old school, man, old school.

CLG,

When you buy lancome here, do they sell the same shades as back home?

I only use lancome concealer, and I am afraid they might not offer my shade here...and also do they give out free makeup bags full of goodies on occasion like at home?

Maybe you know about this? Embarassed

I know Clinique gives out goodies for sure. I spent around 80,000 there last month and got four pots of different moisturizers and things, and a halfsized tube of cleanser. woohoo!

If you're talking about putting Preperation H on the bags under your eyes, everyone knows about that. Personally, kiwiboy, I have yet to put ass cream on my face.

Hey, then there are those who do the opposite to make their butt look more pretty, but I'm not going to go into detail why one would do that!

Hey, CLG, my girl works for Shisedo, and leaves a lot of free make-up around here. I could give some to you if you want to look as white as a ghost!

Depends on the company. Like I said mac sucks for free stuff. Clinque is good for free stuff and lancome seems to be as well.

As for color changes I'm not sure. Before I came to korea I bought cheap crap. My advice on make up is get them to put it on you at the counter. Basically for two reasons.

1. Free makeovers rock. And these girls are usually great at doing this. Pro tip: they usually speak a little english but you gotta make a fool of yourself using bad korean first.

2. You can check out how its going to look on your face and they might give you some colors that you never thought of using. For instance yesterday I went in and asked for a summer look (yoreum saek) and they base they gave me for my eyeshadow was a teal. I normally wouldn't use anything with green in it near my eyes (I have really blue eyes) but it really bought out the blue in my eyes.

Embarassed But damn does it work well. If that company ever cottoned on to that they'd stick it a small pottle with a french name on it and sell it for 40 bucks a hit. Fourtantly they sell it in giant tubes for 5 bucks. I of course hide it in a disued eye cream jar.

I'm white as a ghost already! but shisedo tends to have a bit of yellow undertones to it, which is why it looks good on asian complexions (gentlemen remeber this is you ever buy your gal make up!). But thanks for the offer.
