With the new Tiger OS and the upcoming switch to Intel chips I was wondering when to buy a new Mac notebook. I was planning to wait till I can buy one here with the new OS loaded in it. Will the change of chips make that much difference performance or price wise and when do you think they will start selling them with the Intel chips. Well any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated. I wish I knew more about computers but sadly I don't. Help me please.

| The switch to intel chips will take a long time. they will start by putting them into the imac mini and then put them into the other apple computers. I wouldn't want to wait that long to buy a computer. |
