Hello everyone. I'm new to this board.
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Cheongju City. Any American fast food restaurants there?
Also, is 2 mill won per month decent pay?
Thanks |

I think Cheong Ju is a fairly convenient place to live in Korea. When traffic is good, you can go to Seoul and come back the same day. The bus trip is less than an hour and a half (in good traffic). The rest of the week, you don' t have to deal with the hussle and bussle of Seoul all the time. Also, Daejon, is just a short drive to the South. There are plently of good restaurants in Daejon, Outback, TGI Friday's, etc. But even in Cheong Ju, there are quite a few big departement stores such as Carrefour and Homeplus. Also, if you want to live on the outskirts of Cheong Ju, you can key price your own apartment fairly cheaply.
I've never lived in Seoul, but would like to try it for a year. But Cheong Ju is Okay too. |
