When I go to a PC room, it's always in Korean so is it possible to change it into English? Or do I have to buy an English version one? Anybody got any ideas?
I played Warcraft 2 on the Playstation and I love it but Warcraft 3 on the pc is difficult 'cas of the Korean. Any plans for it to come to the Playstation or Xbox? I hope the Xbox 'cas I have that here!!! |

You cannot change the language after the install. Perhaps when they installed the software, there was a choice. With Warcraft however, I doubt it. It was probably ѱ۹...Korean language version. Games that make devs a lot of cash here generally get Korean versions.
I did trick SPlinter Cell into patching itself with an English patch. I changed the .ini file to read that the installed language was English and then downloaded the latest patch in English.
I reckon all the language files were in there already and the patch somehow changed them all over from Korean. Not sure about the directories or filenames for Warcraft, but if you snoop around and find some "config" files or even "language" files, back them up (so you don't hose the install if it doesn't work) alter the text in them and then patch the game, you may have some luck.
As I said, you may hose the install, so be kind and backup the original files somewhere on the computer before you mess with anything.
As for Xbox or PS2, I haven't a clue. |
