Can anyone tell me anything about Gwangyang or Jecheon? I checked on the board and there is a little on Gwangyang but nothing on Jecheon.

Thanks a lot!!

Yeah, I'm doing a stint in Kwangyang. It has a little expat community, a bigger city nearby named Sinchon(?), and the expats like to hang out together at a bar here called Goldfinger. They've got a website here called theyang, or something or another.

The place is pretty quiet. A few hiking trails exist here, there's a big steel factory called POSCO, there are community centers for exercising, and it's an okay place to live. It's also marked to become one of the free economic zones here in Korea, meaning it's apt to attract more business.

Don't know much about the other city you mentioned. I'm pretty new here myself.

Good luck.
