Co-worker of mine just got his house broken into (in the middle of the day!), and, like him, I don't have any insurance for my stuff. Anyone have any thoughts regarding how best to insure your toys (from theft most importantly, but for other stuff like fire, too, naturally)?

How are the Korean insurance companies? Will, say, a Canadian insurance company cover something if it's not actually in Canada? Is travel insurance enough, or is there something better?
