Le Cordon Bleu, a French cooking school with 110 years of tradition, recently published a Kimchi fusion cookbook under the sponsorship of the Agricultural and Fisheries Marketing Corporation (AFMC) of Korea. The cooking event was held to mark its publication. Le Cordon Bleu president Andre J. Cointreau, Korean Ambassador to France Ju Chul-ki, the director of the AFMC Chung Jin-kwon and 100 professional French cooks were present. One chef showed great interest in the fusion dish and commented, "It's my first time tasting kimchi, and I find the taste and chewing sensation quite unique."

What is sad about this is that Korea is using another culture to introduce 'Kimche' to the world. This will put kimche on the map, but on the french map, not a Korean map.

Ludicrous indeed, I haven't got a clue what this fella means.

What is even more ludicrous this ridicluous notion some people have that Kimchi is some sort of amazing food that cures diseases, is great as a cosmetic agent, keeps away monsters etc. What is sad is that this post hasn't been put into my special 'kimchi new thread', that is where the home of this post is. I made the kimchi new thread just for this sort of stuff!

Come on RR get with the kimchi new program!
