|
|
Hello everyone
I was wondering what the availability of camping gear is like in Korea (tents, sleeping bags, stove, etc)? I think my stuff would take up too much space in my suitcase so would I plan on buying it in Korea for the year. Is this relatively cheap? Or will it cost me an arm and leg?
I've heard of The Red Face, etc...do they sell camping stuff, or just clothing?
Thanks |

Dude, camping is huge here. If you cant get something here it means it doesnt exist. |

I've seen a bunch of Coleman stuff here. No idea if its good, but it didn't seem too expensive. |

IMO, high end gear and what i consider mid-level (like coleman) are more expensive here overall.
It is also possible to buy low-end gear at a very cheap price.
You also may want to consider you baggage weight allowance for your flight.
if you check out kovea dot co dot kr and click on "products", it will give you a good idea of mid-range equipment costs |

Namdaemun, Hoehyeon station, is a center of camping gear shops, any exit will do pretty much. |
