Not the most glamorous tie you'll ever see, but I'm hoping to go- anyone know what the drill is for buying/reserving tickets before the game? Or whether they expect this match at the Seoul WC Stadium to sell out? |

I'm looking foward to this game after the Koreans' side lacklustre effort against saudi..bit of a must win game to keep it rolling.
What time does it start??? |

I think they've sold around 25-30,000 tickets already so it'll be reasonably full but not sold out. Shouldn't be too much of a problem getting tickets tonight but you might have to arrive a wee bit early just in case. |

It couldn't hurt to drop by Hana Bank, and ask if they have any tickets left. Good luck! |

Periods man. Periods. They help.
I'd like to see them win of course. Germany 2006 will be a lot more fun if Korea are there. They should win. Their home record is pretty good. As for their away record......... |

Yeah. Watching it on t.v. with the volume cranked, surrounded by Koreans, I enjoyed hearing the chant which brought back memories of the World Cup, that means in effect "We must win Korea, we must win Korea!" Nifty little gingle.
As for the game: Korea continues to play an impressive give-and-go passing and surge attack, but lacks finishing skills. Cha Do Ri must've shot a dozen balls over the net, often wide, from good positioning. And Lee Chung Su wasn't playing in the second half, as I'd expected.
Saw that young Lee score on one of his several opportunities. He looks like he might be the striker they need.
Korea should have won the game by three or four goals, to reflect the skill disparity. On that note the Uzbeks can take a moral victory of at least appearing competitive.
By the way, didn't the central asian players look very European? Probably all those ex-Soviet era Russians living in the region. |
