If your on a student visas, are you allowed to work up to 20 hours a week legally. Please confirm if it's possible/legal. thanks!

if you have the student visa for studying at a korean language institute you can't do any work legally. If you have the student visa for studying normal university courses then you can do limited legal work after 6 months of full time study. There are limits on the number of hours and the type of work you can do, but I'm not sure as to those details. Try checking the korean immigration website.
