7 in 10 Back Euthanasia: Survey
Seven out of 10 people in a recent survey were found to be in favor of euthanasia, indicating the view that doctors should be allowed to stop treatment for patients in extreme pain from incurable diseases if the patients claim their right to die.
Of the respondents, 56.2 percent consented to active euthanasia, which occurs when someone deliberately brings about the patient's death, as in the case of a lethal injection administered by a doctor.

| Support it so long as it is my choice. We live in a world of over population, don't wantg governments choosing for me. |

| I'm all for voluntary euthenasia, but I want the state (not the nat'l gov't) involved in establishing rules, regulations and restrictions on who can do it and when it can be done. I don't want the vultures in the family making that decision for me. |
