Does anybody know what the teaching conditions are like at Ehwa LC in Gunpo? A friend of mine has been given a contract by the school, however, there was no mention of severence pay nor vacation. It also alluded to work on the weekends. It seemed a bit dodgy for what I had been used to in my experiences with hakwon contracts. I have also heard other stories relating to Ehwa that involved cases on non payment of wages, although I am not sure if the school in question was one of the particular franchises. Also, if anybody has any information regarding the reputation of this recruiting firm that goes by teachexchange, that would also be helpful. Any insight on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I work at an Ewha...it's a horrible franchise. My advice would be to tell your friend to run. He or she will thank you later.
