This one has been on my mind for a while...What is the best way to write an address here?

If I want to order something online, do i put my shipping address down in english or korean? Do I use hangul or romanise it?

Im sure this is a REALLY stupid question to I apologise in advance Embarassed

You can write in English. My family do and their stuff always gets here.

Just to be sure, get your people back home, or anyone mailing to you, to write a contact number for you under the address. Maybe the number of a Korean friend or co-worker would be best. If the post office in Korea in unsure about the romanisation of your address they can call the number to check it out.

For international shipping ... from the outside world coming into Korea it's best to go with romanization. it's been my experience that things always do arrive. There are probably international postal workers who are used to romanized addresses. It might also not freak out the sender with hangul.

For domestic shipping I have found that hangul usually gets to me 1 to 2 days earlier than a romanized addresses. This is based on my average, and probably not the rule.
