Just wondering what those of you who got married here in Korea and returned back home are doing now that you are back there.

A friend of mine just got married and did just that but are having a tough time cause basically they are starting from scratch and his korean wife doesn't really have any applicable skills and of course the job market is in the poops.

Just wondering if there are stories to tell out there?

We have been back since 2001. My husband started his own business three months after arriving and finishing is MCSE. He now has a full-time IT position with a medium-sized company in Calgary. I finished my B.Ed and worked as a teacher for two years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.

Have been back since 1999, wife works for Hanjin shipping (Just got promotion - all koreans - all good for her) and I work a lowly analyst job at ibm. Last week I saw a d/b analyst peeing in the sink in the mens room, guy makes 75K a year and he's pissing in the sink at work, go figure. Crazy world.

I bought a small business. She's looking to parlay her ajumma connections in Korea with her new connections here and start a yuhak type business.
