Looking for easy low-fat snacks (prefer ones that don't need preparation). |

Popcorn is always not a bad option. A quarter of a bag or so for a snack does the salty trick.
Those styrofoam like rice cake things are good when you just want to put something in your mouth.
If you need a sugar kick, try those baskin and robbins candies... they come in chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and mint chocolate chip flavors. That often takes care of the sugar kick.
Im a chocolate monster so when im 'dieting' or watching my calorie intake I usually have a hot chocolate to curve the cravings. |

Kimbap is not good when you are trying to go low fat.
Full of carbs, that fake ham is terrible stuff, and brushed in oil to close it. Don't do it!
kimbap is more of a meal then a snack. |

A wide variety of dried fruits and nuts are a good mix, although I'm not sure how easily you can source this in Korea.
Nuts are a good source of unsaturated fats and with a little salt or seasoning, can taste great without too much of a hit on the gut.
Dried fruit is a good match, and has enough fructose to raise blood sugar levels to get over that "hunger" hump.
Couple it with lots of water, and it's about as enjoyable a snack as you're going to get.
It's dry, stores well, easy to carry little premade packs from home. And surprisingly tasty.. :)

korean puffy rice snacks are good, they're mostly air and made with aspartame not real sugar, just dont get the sticky kind, that's probably corn syrup. really filling and the crunch is satisfying |

Kim Chee. Low in fat and high in garlic. The Koreans swear by it. |
