Okay, maybe I'm the one confused here, but many people on this board seem to refer to "Hangeul" as if it meant "Korean language" instead of "Korean alphabet" as I know it to be. Are Hangeul and Hanguk-uh interchangeable? How about Hanguk-mal?

Confusing...

ѱ refers to the writing system only, not the language though many expats screw that up. As far as I know ѱ and ѱ are interchangable.

Time to study basic vocab, eh?

(gul) as in means letter or character. Hence, we are talking about the alphabet.
(mal) is language. ϴ means to talk.
(uh) is interchangeable with . , Ͼ, etc.

 is pure Korean, I believe.

is taken from Chinese and it looks like this:

is a more useful word in other situations, and I use it more. Like this:

  ˾?

Do you what I mean?

is more useful because it can be made into a verb - ϴ. I dont think can be made into a verb, hence its usefulness is limited.

bonehead, twit, and annoying S.O.B. cannot be made into verbs either, but their usefulness comes in handy when describing you.

I'm not frustrated because you have superior skills at annoying people or that you have a superior ego matched with inferior social skills. I was merely pointing out the obvious. It's times like these that I miss Captain Obvious 2.0.
