My officetel is loaded with wireless connections throughout the building.

Can they tell if someone else is stealing their feed? If not, what should be my biggest concern(if there is 1).

... ahhh, I think I misread your post ...

if they aren't securing their network then I guess it's unlikely that they'll be monitoring it for freeloaders ... but again it's up to you.

Just make sure they aren't a financial services company or anything like that where you could find yourself in trouble in the long-run ...

Yup. Your gonna show up on the info screen for the router.

But so what? They'll never know where you are. Just remember to send your email and stuff over a secure connection (like through gmail or hotmail website with SSL). If I found someone jacking my feed I might read thier email and IM on a lark. Fair game I say.

I couldn't pull in any connections in my building. I found wifi equipment rare and overpriced here too. It didn't seem to be anywhere near as popular as at home, where you can pull in an unsecured connection almost anywhere in the city.
