Like everyone else, I'm starting to flip through the travelogues, looking for a good secluded beach to spend my hard-earned, much needed summer break. Tossing around ideas with the good neighboring countries of Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Avoiding the rainy season may be difficult. So any good weather tips is welcome. A mixture of good beach, scuba diving, tasty food, interesting culture, and not a bust on the bank account is the un-attainable combo we're seeking.
The other large consideration is airfare... already ticket prices are outrageouly expansive. Does anyone out there have a tip or two on finding good ticket prices/ travel agents for the busy last week in July?? I'd be oh-so-grateful if you are willing to share.
