depends what area...sosa is a bizaare chernobyl like place and all areas of bucheon will feature lame foreigners talking about certain areas of bucheon being 'great' because there's a Wallmart there. That about sums up the attraction of Bucheon. BTW, the sewage only runs down the streets on days ending with Y. Halloween bar is the only foreigner bar, and is full of grotesque fat Canadians and weird looking Brits dancing to Robbie Williams and ZZTop.
There is also numerous fast food joints, brothels, and niteclubs. The pollution levels are above OECD norms and the chances of dying on the roads are high. Enjoy!!!

I live in Bucheon and I enjoy it. I used to think that I wanted to be in Seoul, because I've lived there before. Now that I've lived in Bucheon I realize that I'd probably be more content here. I live in Sang-dong, which is kind of a newer area, and everything that you would need is nearby. I don't know if you're interested in going to foreigner bars or not. I'm not a big fan, but there is one just two subway stops away in Bupyeong called "Goose Goose" where foreigners are often found on Friday nights. I like being in between Seoul and Incheon. I'm not one to go into Seoul very often, but everything is connected by subway and I can't tell where one ends and the other begins. Your job is where you will probably spend most of your waking hours, so that's a pretty important thing. I've been here about a month or so, and I don't know everything. But feel free to PM me if there's anything specific with which I might be able to help you. Very Happy

Hahaha, I could quite agree with this Smile

To get to the Bucheon stadium it's easiest to get off at Sosa station, and it's not a very nice area at all... that said, the Bucheon city centre is pretty decent.
