I need to buy a Waterpik -- it's a funky water cleaning system that you use after you brush your teeth.....(it's actually called an Oral Irrigator).
I kind of figured they would be easy to get over here, with the abundance of dentists, the good oral hygience practices that Koreans have, and the general like for "toys" and things, but I can't seem to find one anywhere.
I checked the Waterpik website and although they have a distributor in Seoul, I can't get them to contact me back with places to purchase one which is of course, the best kind of distributor a product needs.......
Does anyone know where I can get one?
Thanks! |

Walmart has a Braun/Oral B sort of station that performs various functions that may include oral irrigating. Walmart also has a sonic toothbrush for 110,000 won made by Braun/Oral B.
I'd try Costco. Never been there myself but Costco is reputed to have a wonderfully complete selection of westerny things. |

hamu.. I think you should go to the nearest dentist/orthodintist and ask them. I am sure they can recommend somewhere.
Alternatively, go to any of the major department stores. It may help to have a photograph:

You may also want to check at costco.. though I doubt they have it.. I will take a look next time I go there.
I had braces and got a water pik from the states and looked at it just this past weekend wondering whether I should sell it or not... (I have only used one of the 3 piks. The other two are still in the original factory packaging.)
Finally...had to speak to the agent here initially and found him very helpful.. However, I can't seem to find his address or phone number now. You may want to call the water pik company in the states. They were the ones who had given me the number for their agents in Kangnam in the first case.
I hope all of this helps.... I very vividly remember needing one and not knowing where to turn.
Best of Luck.
