i've got warcraft on my office computer at work, and i'm a big fan of the mod games. i got spoiled where i was living before because i could host my own games, and could play any game i wanted at any time. i've tried hosting on my computer at home and the one here in my office, but it doesn't seem to work. i can create a game, but no one joins. it's not that my games are unpopular. i mean, i understand if i make a game that no one wants to play, they aren't going to join. but really no one has joined one of my games. i know it's a hosting problem.
why can i host from pc bangs, but not from my home or office computers?
thanks in advance for any help you can give me. |

Router = firewall? Perhaps your office is firewalled due to a router? PC rooms are made for games...offices for security. Well....at least by default in a router setup.
Then again, Warcraft is a terrible game...maybe people are realizing this? |
