So today I was whipping some kids into a froth by singing "Dokto Canada tang" and the usual anti-Japanese sentiment came out:
Them: Teacher! Japan is very crazy!
Me: Oh really? All of them?
Them: Do you know Japanese princess?
Me: Sure.
Them: She is very very fat and ugly.
Me: Oh really? Doesn't she have Korean blood?
Them: What?
Me: Well a few years ago the Japanese emperor said he had Korean ancestors. He said he felt kinship with Korea.
Them: <after a lot of discussion in Korean> She is fat but her face is beautiful. |

Now I trust you have asked your students if you could print their conversation with you on the world wide web? that could be construed as a breach of their intellectual property rights!

Don't worry Kiwi, I only paraphrased, so I think I'm clear legally. 
funplanet: now that mention it, I seem to remember something about that. That's probably what they were talking about. |
