Has hit me like a ton of anti-Japan protesters. I can't even breathe. Anyone know of some good medicines to purchase here in order to combat this rigmarole?

It's hit me hard. My throat is being asphixiated, my head throbbing. Need something for a bad headache too.

Why can't some of these half-dead students just stay home? Some kid came to class last Friday with what sounded like the whooping cough. I tried to get out of his line of fire, but in these cramped classrooms, there's no escape. Now I've got to go to class because there's little excuse for just the common cold. Once again, a victim is waiting.

ooh dear....from my own experience, the only thing that really worked was a shot on the backside and prescribed medication by the doctor...

BTW have you heard about 'airborne'???? Think it might help you later....

One thing i've found helps..

I have a rule in my classes that if I see you cough without covering your mouth 3 times in one class, you have to write "I will cover my mouth when I cough around other people." 50 times. Now, the kids are all especially conscious of keepin their nasty bugs to themselves.

I only have heard of one western medicine that's good for flu. I can't remember the name and they probably don't have it here. I didn't have the flu but I had a bad cold and my boss got my some herbal medicine from the nearby herbal pharmacy. I'm feeling much better in 3 days. She said there's one kind for throat, one for nose and one for cough. Sorry I don't know any of the names.

I know what you're saying...I am going through the same thing.

I made it to work yesterday, had no energy, but thought I could make it through since I had an easy day. After the second class I couldn't breathe, and the pressure in my head made it feel like someone was pushing on it. That and I keep going from burning up to the cold sweats.

Went to the doctor (temp was 39.3) got a shot in the butt and a bunch of pills. I feel better, but I don't think I'll be back to full game form for a couple days.

BTW: I took the Advil cold and sinus I brought from home and it didn't help.

Go to the doctor.
