I'm thinking...while looking at the korean jobs offered board....if the school(s) were such a great place to work...why are they posting looking for teachers? I would think that if the school owner was a decent person...it is not the schools that are bad...it's the owner.....if the school was a great place to work..why wouldn't current teachers recommend friends? We all know of someone who is looking to teach in korea....why not tell the school owner...pay me the recruiters fee and I'll get you a teacher.
I've been asked many times be hakwon owners...do you know of a teacher looking for work? My answer is always the same...if I was to recommend my friend to work for you...we would no longer be friends. Why? Because you can't be trusted to treat the teachers fair and you'd want them to teach 6/7/8 50 minute classes a day. Also...you pay newbies and experienced teachers the same!
Still...don't you think that if the school was great...you would recommend your buddies, friends, family or enemies?
