I'm trying to find a dentist that won't give me the "foreigner price" for my root canal and crown.

Last year, I paid about 450,000 won for each tooth at Chicago dental in Hannam-Dong. The girl who did most of the root canal work wasn't a licensed dentist yet, either.

I have insurance.

My Korean wife got hers for 300,000 won per teeth for a crown with insurance.

The dentist is a Korean American who graduated from NYU "Gangdong New York Dentist" who speaks English at Myungil Station line 5 east of Cheonho Station.

By the way she got 3 new golden crowns teeth, 3 resin teeth, 2 gold fillings, 1 tecera, plus 3 wisdom teeth extraction pulled for a total of 1,700,000 won. The other dentist offices quoted a price of 2.6 million..... Ouch!!!!!!!!!

The place is completely clean with a reasonable prices.

There's an English speaking dentist above the Family Mart at Sunae.(the one more or less opposite California Roll Japanese restaurant) Exit 4 straight ahead. However, I'd be firm about what you want done, as I went there with a broken tooth & he found a whole bunch of stuff wrong with my teeth. So could be a take advantage guy, however if you just tell him to fix what you want fixed, might be ok.
