Young Women More Likely to Turn to Moneylenders
Women in their 20s are more likely to turn to private moneylenders than their male counterparts if they cannot repay their debts, a survey announced Thursday suggests. According to a survey of credit seekers during the first quarter by Sanwamoney, the country's largest private moneylender, women accounted for 51.5 percent of applicants in their 20s.
