Yes. A DVD download is either 4.7 Gigs (already compressed a bit) or 8 Gigs (the size from rental stores).
You need to get a program like one of these: http://www.divx.com/divx/?src=toptab_divx_from_/index.php
Not sure if there are any free programs to do what you want.
I bought a new DIVX DVD player from Carrefor, which I really love a lot. It cost me 99,000 won. It plays DIVX, Windows Media, and AVI files. Some MPG files too, I think. Also does photos.
And the sound quality is definately better than my previous DVD Player.
I even use it in the Multi-Channel Out mode, because it does a better job than my 4 year old Onkyo Amp does of decoding DTS. |

To put those particular files onto a disk, as-is, you would require a DVD-RW burner not just a CD-RW burner, which is what you presently have.
You need to rip your file again so that it is transferred into a DivX (avi & mpeg), or VCD formats. For all your ripping needs, go to www.doom9.org it's a little techinical but it will have what is required for this process. |
