Does anyone know of any adult hakwans that dont have the ridiculous split-shifts and do provide housing? |

I believe the ones around JONGNO as they have SO MANY students with all kinds of hours throughout the day, and many many teachers!
But even there, I think you need to put in at last several months before you get the seniority to block your hours to the morning or evening. |

English Channel offers 6 months split and 6 months block. One-on-one with adults. They pay 2.2 (but you have to work 2 saturdays per month), housing and all the regular stuff. Not terrible at all, especially for a first job in Korea. |

It isn't a joke. Split shift sucks large!
Get up before 7.
Work after 7 - (sleep afternoons)
get off at 10.
Get up at 6.
Etc....
For months...!
Happy times! |

yeah the split is a killer. ive just finished my second year in korea and taught adults on a split shift
ive only ever heard of a non split in one place which was in Apkujong. My friend was teacheing people their who were mainly nurses who were going to work abroad I think. He taught 11 - 7. It was ran by Korean Americans. he was British and was employed due to being a token British teacher then was fired for his accent after a few weeks. A bit odd. I could ask him for the name of the place maybe if you want |

Your best bet is trying to find a hagwon that teaches university kids, there's a number of them out there. |
