Was anybody there? I happened upon it, and there were SO MANY people with cameras. What was up with that? Some were definitely press (a clash between the protesters and the riot police was shown on CNN this morning). Did people expect a big showdown or something? I was baffled by all the cameras.

Not to worry there, Periwinkle. It's just the "Down with Jongno Guru" spring festival. They hold it (and me in the stocks) every year around this time.

Anyway, we had a great crowd this year and are counting on an even bigger turnout in 2006... when the Norks are rumoured to make their EXCITING debut. Surprised
