I try to play games, or even when I'm surfing the web, "Autoplay" pops up and disrupts me for a short time. It's the screen with the searching flashlight.
How do I get rid of this? |

* Click Start
* Click Run
* Enter GPEDIT.MSC
Group Policy mmc will popup. On left panel:
* Double-click Computer Configuration to open submenu
* Double-click Administrative Templates to open submenu
* Double-click System to open submenu
* Double-click Turn autoplay off option which will be near the bottom of the list in the right panel. |

Thanks.. but why does it do that?
Also, can't figure out why my hard drive seems to run so often for no apparent reason, unless it's my AVAST virus program, which is all up-to-date. Also running the new Windows anti-spyware program. |
