N.K. Accuses U.S. of Using United Nations to Start War
North Korea accused the United States Saturday of trying to use the U.N. forces to raise tension and eventually start a war on the Korean Peninsula. Amid growing skepticism about the six-party talks,
U.S. President George W. Bush on Thursday labeled North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-il, a "tyrant." U.S. media reports have speculated recently that the Bush administration was running out of patience and preparing to take North Korea to the U.N. Security Council for arbitration and sanctions.
Pyongyang has said it would consider any sanctions a declaration of war.

'Bush a Hooligan Bereft of Personality'
North Korea on Saturday lashed out against U.S. President George W. Bush for his "slander" of the country's leader Kim Jong-il. "Bush is a hooligan bereft of any personality as a human being, to say nothing of stature as president of a country. He is a half-baked man in terms of morality and a philistine whom we can never deal with," a spokesman for the country's foreign ministry said.

The purpose is drive the six-party talks into a crisis to ultimately break it up, and at the same make it easier to take the nuclear issue to the United Nations and impose sanctions against our government," the (North) Korean Central News Agency quoted the paper as saying.

Bush is a moron. Seriously, does he NOT know what these kinds or remarks do to the Norks? Everyone knows that KJI is a malignant little dwarf, it doesnt need to be said. If Bush is gonna call him names, then make fun of his hair, his gut and his stature. Crack some jokes about KJI being the Dear Little Pocket leader or something. Or how he is the only thing small enough to be mountable on Nork missiles.

What I found funny was the above quote. The Norks blaming the US for driving the talks to a crisis point. Geez, where doe this great concern for the talks come from? Perhaps if the little dweeb in Pyeongyang didnt abandon them then they would not be at a crisis point.

If the US does take it to the UNSC will there be sanctions? I doubt it. China will probably veto it anyway. However, should China vote for sanctions what would the Norks do then? Slam the Chinese?

Where did you get that out of his post? 'Liberal' actually has a definition; it isn't just a word to throw around when you disagree with someone. And 'paranoid' is usually associated with conservatives.

Wackos can be on either side of the spectrum.

This board is definately full of wackos.

Please can the tired old "Liberal" dictionary definition rhetoric. We've seen enough of that on here, too.

You're right. We wouldn't want facts to get in the way of expressing an opinion, would we? That would be against everything this board stands for.

Man, that is priceless. I haven't laughed so hard in years. You don't end sentences in prepositions.

By the way, I am all liberal, all the time.

Derrek, if you think that this sort of thing is not being said in living rooms all over the world at any given moment you are completely wrong. It's a strange thing, but it's the way it is.

'Bush a Hooligan Bereft of Personality': N.K. Foreign Ministry
The spokesman's statement was carried in English by the (North) Korean Central News Agency, the country's official news outlet.

"No one can expect to hear reasonable words from Bush, once a cowboy at a ranch in Texas. His remarks often stun audience as they reveal his utter ignorance," the North said.

"Peace can never settle in the world as long as Bush stays in power. The DPRK does not expect any solution to the nuclear issue or any progress in the DPRK-U.S. relations during his term," the North said. The reclusive state said it could not help but choose its own independent path because it can no longer wait for the U.S. to change its policy toward North Korea.

"Over more than four years since Bush's inauguration, the DPRK has shown utmost magnanimity and patience. It can no longer do so, waiting for any shift in the U.S. policy... Quite just is the path chosen by us and we will keep to it with our chests thrown out," the North said.

N. Korea Accuses U.S. of Some 170 Reconnaissance Flights in April
North Korea accused the United States Saturday of conducting some 170 spy flights against the communist country in April. Quoting military sources, the North's Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) claimed the U.S. mobilized U-2, RC-135, E-3 and EP-3 planes to spy on its military and government facilities.

It's the comment about Bush being a philistine that really hurts. That's unforgiveable.
