Lotus Lamps to Be Installed on Dokdo
The Chogyesa temple will install lotus lamps on the Dokdo islets in celebration of the birthday of Buddha on May 15. Between May 6 and 10, Rev. Wondam, the head of the temple, and believers will visit the islands and hold a ceremony for those who died protecting the islets and a ceremony of lighting the lamps.

| Dare I ask how many brave souls have died protecting these sacred islands? As well, dare I ask why don't they save their sanctimonous bullsh*t and actually pay homage to the people killed by North Korea recently? Time for a little soul searching Korea...*sigh* |

| I would have hoped a buddhist temple would be above such petty nationalistic political BS. |
