Did anyone else catch this evenings SBS news broadcast? There was a story about geriatric men in cowboy hats patrolling around public schools. Since i'm new to Korea and don't speak any Korean would someone in the know be so kind as to inform me of what these old codgers are actually doing. Are they checking up on students in order to ensure they don't misbehave during school or is it just an excuse to keep them from boredom during their retirement days? This story just struck me as amusing.
