Israel gained the West Bank and Gaza in a arguably defensive war. Israel was under threat before 1967 what was the problem then? And anyway There would be no occupation if Arafat accepted Bill Clintons' offer.
Of course 98% of Israel's settlements are wrong but why should the Palestinian side also not also have to give up their war? The war by Israels' enemies against Israel is at least as bad and wrong as Israel's actions if not more so.
On another note .Al Qaida fights to regain the Caliphiate , for them the destruction of Israel is necessary - not sufficent. Even if there was no Israel they would still be fighting because it is their goal to conquer the mid east but they don't intend to stop there. |
