>. So let me get this straight. If HOMO-sexuals enjoy "... getting it on" with people of the SAME sex, and BI-sexuals swing both ways, HETERO-sexuals prefer those of the opposite sex, what kind of bang-bang do METRO-sexuals go for ???

Frankly, i find this kind of blatant language subversion all too disturbing. Who comes up with these terms & how do they find their way into common currency ??? Is there not anyone else out there who questions the integrity of such shamelessly sheepish semantics ???

With These Shirts, We're All Metrosexuals Now

"Hot Rod" Willy Narcissus

"Metro-sexuality" is likely to continue to dominate mens fashion this spring. An Internet portal site encyclopedia defines "Metro-sexuality" as "a term denoting males who possess feministic esthetic sense and who show great interest in one's looks and fashions." The conventional dress shirt will take a step back, not least because longer weekends with the introduction of the five-day workweek require more casual clothes. Daring Shocked flower prints, exquisite embroidery: they will all fill the stores for even the most masculine of urban men this spring.

in other fashion news, word from New York suggest that a form of music popularised by spoken rhymes layered over break beats may soon be the 'next big thing'

Too caught up in making knee-jerk sarcastic remarks ( seemingly assuming i'm not aware of how this annoying term has been around for a few years now ), you unfortunately missed my point entirely James.

Let's hope you can offer something a little more "con"-structive next time.

I'm sorry, but I become confused when you highlight every other syllable by underlining, italicizing, enboldening, or adding three punctuation marks.

What was your point exactly?

New York Post yesterday had a survey/report that stated...
Women are turning away from the "metrosexual" and are starting to prefer "manly men" again...well, in America, anyway.

ah sheesh- all magazine articles are written on the pretence of
"Denata- can you do us 800 words on the latest trend by 4pm Thursday please?"
There are no women sitting around going- "You know I really liked guys who use Clinique M-lotion last week, but now I'm into fellas who fix their own trucks and could plait their back hair".

I kind of figured that would be temporary. Western women are fickle about fads in men.

Besides, if a man is too gay, he ends up looking like the woman in the relationship, since most USA women look and/or act like men these days.
