Is it The Beaver or Superhero? I say them because I only know them and they are much more geekier than me. Actually, I wish I was a geeky as them.

The geeks will inherit the World. Soon you'll not be able to take a poop without knowing about computers.

Demophobe is definitely and huge techno-dork! In a good way of course! Laughing

He actually reads technology news and product release announcements... that says it all!

I use to be a geek but I hate anything to do with computers. I left my job as an Administrator and I have never been so content with giving up a job in my life.

After logging out, I realized a couple of things and people...

The Lemon
the saint
the_beaver
Hank Scorpio
cheem

All of these dudes know their stuff. I think everyone has their fortes, but indeed Gord is the winner here.

All competitiveness aside, I think the tech forum is the strongest it has ever been here, thanks to all the mentioned and those whose names elude me right now.

Making a very helpful resource for the expats in Korea. Cool

Now all we need to know is who has what sock on that list, eh Demo? Wink

I'd like to say I'm a geek, but I'm too busy dating. Laughing

I was just teasing the guy.

Besides, how could you know for a fact unless you were actually him?

Demophobe and Derrek are both tied in my opinion and very useful and helpful geeks they are too, I thank them for it. Derreck might be a little more geeky because of his sig line avatar!

Geeks are very useful people to have around and have a vital role in today technological world, I'm sure a lot of people have learned a lot from both these great geeks.

In a way neither of them are 'true geeks' because the true geeks like to maintain their status in a lazy way by not letting on about their secrets but rather keeping you in the dark and trying to make you feel inferior. These guys enjoy sharing their knowledge, thanks guys.

Kind words keithinkorea. Thanks.

Yeah, I really don't fit the geek profile at all. Nor does Jazblanc, Gord or anyone else on these lists. Although I don't know them all, the real geeks don't spend time at ESLCafe.

As for Derrek's sig avatar....I guess it's "geeky". I thought it was something else entirely, but now that keith mentions it, sure, why not?

You wanna see a real geek?

The one dude is translucent.
