|
|
I'm used to seeing a few dozen military helicopters each day, all flying quite low over the highway and nearby apartment buildings, but this morning about 3 seperate military planes flew over our neighbourhood REALLY low....like, lower than I have ever seen a plane fly in my life without coming to land. He was lower than my officetel, which is about 30 storeys tall. And, one flew right in between my apartment and the neighbouring one -- over a residential street in a quiet area of town.
Anyone have any idea why this is???? It's kind of a bit freaky...... |

My school is located right under the turnaround area that the big planes use before they land... ugh... gets loud sometimes. |

They're looking for Derrek after having discovered his many stories about Korean chicks here on Dave's. |

Same thing happened last summer. For about two weeks every morning there was a continual parade of cargo planes, helos, and fighters all flying over in formation. They were just practicing for an upcoming airshow or military demonstration. Some of the choppers had cargo nets hanging from them with soldiers clipped & clinging to them, a'swingin' in the breeze. Best of all were the low passes of the F-18's, though. They totally shook our school building. Never really got a good look at them, though... |
