I used to have hayfever back home (had to take Zyrtec every day during the season), when I was living in Japan it became A LOT worse (damn poplar trees.. had to take 1,5 times the daily dose of Zyrtec).
This is my second spring in Korea and NOTHING
Do you take anything for your hayfever/allergies? I found Zyrtec to be really effective (Claritin didn't help me at all), and they sell it in Korea. |

peppergirl, you are so lucky. I have hay fever. I was hoping it would be better here in Korea, but last year I went through the exact same hayfever I always have from March to June.
This year it doesn't seem to be quite as bad, although if I'm going hiking I have to remember to take my drugs to prevent an attack. |

Not sure if you need a presription or not, didn't buy it here.
Here's the Korean Zyrtec website though, so you can copy the hangul and take it to the pharmacy & ask. In Belgium I didn't need a presciption for it.
Hope it will help! I know how terrible hay fever can be. |

I was going to make a post about this cause I am suffering badly as well. I am severly alergic to mold but out door mold and Air conditionair mold. Also seems I am alergic to some local plant life as well. Stupid enough that I can't buy antihistamines over counter I have to get a perscription.
Makes me regret not geting allergy shots before leaving Canada. |

paperbag princess -
the absolute BEST thing i've ever taken for nasal/sinus allergies has been a quercitine/bromelain complex.
it's something made from the skins of orange/grapefruit peels. totally natural, and while it takes a couple of days for it to build up its strength in your body - like any natural product - it turns your body into a sherman tank against those miniscule flying bozos that make ya sneeze.
my symptoms were so bad that, while driving on cortes island during haying season, i was one hour late for work because i just sat there in my car sneezing and watering from the eyes so bad i couldn't see the road in front of me. i seriously sneezed every 10 seconds for hours on end.
quercitine saved my life. i'd be willing to bet you can get it at the tokkaebi foreigner market in namdaemun, down where they sell vitamins and weightlifting supplies etc. i estimate a big bottle of it should cost you 40-60,000.
or you can go to GNC and pay 80,000,000,000,000,000 won for it.

time to get on base again, i guess.
i hate how natural medicines are so expensive here. i guess the oriental medicine people want you to keep on taking deer antler and kitten medicine. |
