They say Korea is a " high context society" because one can understand some one elses intentions without that someone else verbalising them.

Thus the use of words like Kibbun, nuncie, han and jeung.

Anyone know any other Korean words that fall into this category

What about gingeropda. I heard that was the Korean word for "awful". Can that be used to convey ones feelings about something in general without having to be specific.

I heard someone say that there were subliminal messages conveyed when words were used in that 'high context---- thing"
