Hi guys,
Another post from me I'm afraid!
I'm coming over next week. I'm a right computerholic here (especially Inet surfing) and thought about bringing over my base unit. Then I thought about settling for my PS2, but now I'm thinking of purchasing a laptop and bringing that.
Trouble is I'm going to Korea to SAVE money and I don't want to buy an expensive machine overly. But on the flipside it means I can write up plans etc, play my dvds and vcds download the latest TV from the UK and USA and play the odd game. Which sounds pretty sweet.
How useful are laptops? I got a digi camera which kinda requires a computer of some sort as I can fill it up with photos easily in 45mins. I'm thinking of biting the bullet and getting a cheap non offensive 2nd hand one over here for about 400. Opinions?
Thanks!

Laptops tend not to do well in Korea. The humidity in summer and dust in spring aren't really small part friendly. You can however get parts and build a computer to your own specs pretty cheaply here. |
